Why is there a serious leakage in the slurry pump seal

 Slurry pump seal leakage, the main reasons include the following points:

Improper selection of sealing element materials
Friction vice serious wear
Dynamic and static ring coincidence is not uniform
Friction vice is too large, static ring broken
O-ring damage

Specific measures to solve the problem are as follows:
Explain the medium condition to the pump supplying unit, and match with appropriate seals.
Replace the worn parts, adjust the spring pressure
Re-adjust the seal combination
Disassemble the whole pump and replace the static ring, make the error of perpendicularity with the shaft less than 0.10, and install the seal assembly according to the requirements.
