Use and maintenance of submersible pumps for wells

To ensure the normal operation of submersible pumps for wells, the following requirements must be followed.
Before using the submersible pump for well use, a megohmmeter must be used to check the insulation resistance of the motor, and the minimum value should not be less than 50M Ω.
The water immersion motor should open the filling plug, fill it with clean water, and then tighten the plug. It is not allowed to unscrew the filling plug and directly enter the well.
Before use, check if the cable is broken or broken. If there is any damage, it should be replaced in a timely manner to prevent leakage.
Before launching the submersible pump for well use, clean water should be injected into the pump, and then it should be idle for 1-2 minutes and started twice to check whether the start and idle are normal, and whether the steering meets the requirements. If the steering direction is opposite, simply switch any two phase wiring.
Check if there are cracks in the lifting pipe and if the connection is secure.
When lowering and lifting submersible pumps used in wells, it is not allowed to forcefully pull cables to avoid cable damage or disconnection at joints, which may cause unexpected accidents. Iron wires or pallets should be used for lowering and lifting.
The power supply voltage should be controlled within the range of ± 5% of the rated voltage, so that the motor can operate normally. If the voltage is too low or too high, the motor cannot continue to be used to avoid damage during long-term operation under overvoltage or undervoltage.
When diving into the water, the submersible pump used in the well should be vertically suspended and not tilted. The optimal depth of entry is 5 meters below the dynamic water level.
Submersible pumps used in wells shall not transport water or mud with high sand content.
The actual head of the submersible pump for well use should be within 0.8-1.1 times the rated head to improve unit efficiency, save energy, and avoid motor overload.
The motor wiring must be grounded to prevent the motor from burning out during phase loss operation.
The cable must be regularly inspected for cracks, scratches, and other conditions, and if there are any, they must be replaced or repaired in a timely manner.
If oil leakage occurs in the oil immersed motor, it should be promptly repaired by the manufacturer or maintenance point, and the sealing components should be replaced.
Water immersed motors should be regularly cleaned of sand particles in the motor cavity and replaced with clean water in the motor cavity.
After six months of operation, the submersible pump for well use should be repaired and inspected, and damaged parts should be replaced.
After using the submersible pump for well use, the water immersed motor should be drained of clean water inside the motor, cleaned, oiled for rust prevention, and stored vertically in a dry place.

What are the differences bewteen core drilling bits and pdc drilling bits

Although both core drills and PDC drills are tools used for drilling and sampling, there are significant differences between them in terms of material, structure, and scope of application. Core Drill Definition: A core drill is a broad concept that refers to all drills used for coring operations. It can be a variety of types such as tungsten carbide bits, PDC bits, diamond bits and so on. Function: Mainly used to remove a cylindrical section of core sample from different types of materials for subsequent analysis and research. Material: Various materials, including carbide, diamond, PDC, etc. Different materials are selected according to the hardness and toughness of the drilling material. Structure: Relatively simple structure, mainly consists of drill body, inner cylinder and outer cylinder. Application:  Wide range of applications, including geological exploration, engineering survey, mineral exploration, etc. PDC Drill Bit Definition: PDC drill bit is a special coring dr...

What is the diffirence between slurry pump and mud pump?

Many people confuse the concepts of   slurry pump s and   Mud Pump s, but in terms of practical applications or the characteristics of the conveying medium, there are indeed countless similarities between the two pump. Concept analysis of slurry pump and mud pump: The slurry pump is mainly suitable for industries such as mining, power plants, dredging, metallurgy, chemical engineering, building materials, and petroleum. Mud pump is also a popular concept of a broad pump, and different regions, habits, and ultimately involve different pump types. Mud pumps are used in the field of oil drilling. In fact, some non clean water pumps and mud pumps such as sewage pumps and slurry pumps are also commonly referred to. The similarities between slurry pump and mud pump: 1. In terms of working principle, it belongs to a centrifugal pump. Conceptually, it refers to a mechanical device that converts electrical energy into the kinetic and potential energy of the medium by increasing the ene...
