Use and maintenance of submersible pumps for wells

To ensure the normal operation of submersible pumps for wells, the following requirements must be followed.
Before using the submersible pump for well use, a megohmmeter must be used to check the insulation resistance of the motor, and the minimum value should not be less than 50M Ω.
The water immersion motor should open the filling plug, fill it with clean water, and then tighten the plug. It is not allowed to unscrew the filling plug and directly enter the well.
Before use, check if the cable is broken or broken. If there is any damage, it should be replaced in a timely manner to prevent leakage.
Before launching the submersible pump for well use, clean water should be injected into the pump, and then it should be idle for 1-2 minutes and started twice to check whether the start and idle are normal, and whether the steering meets the requirements. If the steering direction is opposite, simply switch any two phase wiring.
Check if there are cracks in the lifting pipe and if the connection is secure.
When lowering and lifting submersible pumps used in wells, it is not allowed to forcefully pull cables to avoid cable damage or disconnection at joints, which may cause unexpected accidents. Iron wires or pallets should be used for lowering and lifting.
The power supply voltage should be controlled within the range of ± 5% of the rated voltage, so that the motor can operate normally. If the voltage is too low or too high, the motor cannot continue to be used to avoid damage during long-term operation under overvoltage or undervoltage.
When diving into the water, the submersible pump used in the well should be vertically suspended and not tilted. The optimal depth of entry is 5 meters below the dynamic water level.
Submersible pumps used in wells shall not transport water or mud with high sand content.
The actual head of the submersible pump for well use should be within 0.8-1.1 times the rated head to improve unit efficiency, save energy, and avoid motor overload.
The motor wiring must be grounded to prevent the motor from burning out during phase loss operation.
The cable must be regularly inspected for cracks, scratches, and other conditions, and if there are any, they must be replaced or repaired in a timely manner.
If oil leakage occurs in the oil immersed motor, it should be promptly repaired by the manufacturer or maintenance point, and the sealing components should be replaced.
Water immersed motors should be regularly cleaned of sand particles in the motor cavity and replaced with clean water in the motor cavity.
After six months of operation, the submersible pump for well use should be repaired and inspected, and damaged parts should be replaced.
After using the submersible pump for well use, the water immersed motor should be drained of clean water inside the motor, cleaned, oiled for rust prevention, and stored vertically in a dry place.

How much does it cost to buy a slurry pump

The price of slurry pumps can be affected by a variety of factors, so it is difficult to give an exact figure. Generally speaking, the price of slurry pumps will vary according to the following factors: Factors affecting the price of slurry pumps Pump type and specifications: flow, head, caliber, material and other parameters are different, the price will also have a big difference. Pump material: slurry pump contact medium corrosive different, the material selected is different, thus affecting the price. Common materials are cast iron, stainless steel, wear-resistant alloy. Pump brand: different brands of pumps, its technical level, quality, after-sales service and so on there are differences, the price will naturally be different. Pump configuration: pump configuration, such as motor, control system, seals, etc., will also affect the price. Purchase Quantity: Bulk purchases are usually discounted to a certain extent. Market conditions: Fluctuations in the price of raw materials...

How to replace the impeller of a slurry pump

The impeller of the slurry pump is a wearing part, which needs to be inspected and replaced periodically. The process of replacing the impeller is relatively complex and requires certain specialized knowledge and skills. The following are the steps for replacing the impeller of the slurry pump: 1. Preparation Shut down and disconnect the power:  Before any operation, be sure to cut off the power supply to ensure safety. Preparation tools:  ready wrenches, screwdrivers, gaskets, new impeller and so on. Drain:  Empty the pump. Protective measures:  Wear protective gloves, safety glasses and other protective equipment. 2. Disassembly Procedure DISASSEMBLY:  Disassemble the suction and discharge pipes connected to the pump. Remove pump cover:  Loosen the bolts securing the pump cover and carefully remove the cover. Remove the impeller:  Loosen the nuts secure the impeller with a suitable tool and remove the impeller. 3. Install the new impeller Insp...
